Tailored Education for Every Child

While driving down the highway and listening to talk radio, Rose Gamblin thought wouldn't it be nice to have a program dedicated to homeschooling families. She pitched her idea to a number of people, including her publisher, but was initially turned down. A few weeks later boxes of equipment turned up addressed to her from Life Talk Radio Network. She called and they said if she would be willing to produce her own shows they would be happy to air them. That first week of January 2008 Homeschool Companion went on the air. Michael Gamblin, who already had a background in audio/visual production, became the producer. Both Mike and Rose have worked tirelessly to support this ministry. In 2016 they incorporated as MRG Media  (Homeschool Companion is a registered DBA of MRG Media) and obtained a 501(c)3 enabling listeners to also help sustain the ministry. As a result of COVID and parents taking back the raising of their children, Homeschool Companion show's reach has exploded to more than 25 million listeners across the nation. The show is also broadcast out of Guam and England.
