K-12 Homeschool Umbrella

We appreciate your interest in our K - 12 Home School Umbrella. Homeschool Companion is recognized by the State of Maryland as a valid home school umbrella program, we are currently working on national recognition.  It also provides umbrella protection according to the Annotated Code of Maryland Title 13A.10.01.

1. Notify your school district of your intent to homeschool.
2. Fill out an HSC application and Agreement form. 
3. Pay the $100 application fee. And $100 per child enrollment fee for the year ($200 per student).

At the end of each semester (Dec/Jan and again in May/June) provide samples of before and after work. If you are doing unschooling be sure and contact Dr. Gamblin to help you with setting up your objectives. If your child has an IEP or 504 plan share that with Dr. Gamblin too. She will help you with modifications and accommodations for students with special needs.
